What we collect

If you request the free guide, we collect your first name and email address, and nothing else. If you buy a book, our payment processor collects the details needed to take payment; we never see or store your card number.

Why we collect it

To send you the guide you asked for, to deliver anything you buy, and to send occasional emails about Anchored. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to stop. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. You can also write to hello@anchoredevenings.com and ask us to delete everything we hold about you; we will do it and confirm.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to hello@anchoredevenings.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Cookies and advertising measurement

This page was updated on 19 August 2026, ahead of our first advertising campaign. Our previous policy promised that we would describe advertising measurement here before it went live rather than after. This section is us keeping that promise: what follows is what the site does from that date on.

We advertise Anchored on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To know which of those ads actually lead to someone asking for the guide, this site uses the Meta Pixel and the cookies it sets. It records the pages you open here and whether you asked for the guide or bought a book, and it links that to your Meta account so we can count conversions and stop paying for ads that do not work.

What it never sees: anything you type into a form other than the fact that you submitted it, the contents of your emails, and anything at all on other websites we do not operate. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it to build audiences from sensitive categories.

If you would rather not be measured. You can turn off personalised advertising in your Meta ad settings, opt out industry-wide at optout.aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu, or simply block third-party cookies in your browser. None of it changes anything you receive from us: the guide, the books and the emails work exactly the same.

We use no other tracker — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no session recorder, no advertising network beyond Meta. If that changes, this page will say so before it does, the same way it did this time.

Children

Anchored is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
